How to Update to Firmware 1.00.03
1. Download the firmware Ver. 1.00.03
2. Please make "M17S" folder in root directory. Then, make "update" folder in M17S folder
3. Save unzipped "M17S_firm_1.00.03.prg" and "M17S_lamg_ENG.res" in the "update" folder
(Attached file is already made a folder and you can put it into micro SDHC)
*SDHC card format should be FAT32
*1-2 process by using computer or smartphone
4. Insert the micro SD card to M17S(Please take care of Micro SD direction)
5. Go to SYSTEM menu and choose SD-CARD
6. Click to FIRMWARE and enter [UPDATE]
7. Display "UPDATE OK?" and choose "YES"
8. Start Update and wait until finish
9. When finished update, will display "COMPLETE !"
10. M17S firmware update is completed
Download M17S Italian and Taiwanese language file in the below link.
1. Save "M17S" folder into Micro SD card.
2. Insert the Micro SD card to M17S.
3. Go to the System and enter to "SD-CARD."
4. On SD-Card menu, go to language.
Enter to [UPDATE]
Select "M17S_lang_xxx.res"(xxx is your required language).
Italian stands for ITA. Taiwanese stands for TWN.
5. After displayed UPDATE OK?, please select and enter "YES".
6. Language will start updating.
7. After finished updated, M17S will be restarted.
After the update completed, M17S menu will be in your choice language.
Download folder includes M17S firmware 1.01.03.
When you want to be back English version, please use the files for English (M17S_lang_ENG.res).
In case of updated from 1.01.00, please do more steps.
1. After M17 was restarted, it require update firmware
2. Go to System and choose SD-CARD
3. Select LAUNGUAGE and UPDATE
4. Display "UPDATE OK?" and choose "YES"
5. After finished, will display "COMPLETE!"
6. And choose "YES"
7. After finished Factory reset, M17S update is completed
Do “Factory Reset” in SYSTEM menu
*Error 3 (touch pad calibration error) occupy until finished Factory Reset
*Please save your model data before Factory Reset.
Once did factory reset, all model data will be deleted.
* When inserting Micro SDHC card, please make sure direction of the Micro SD card.
Please insert the Micro SD card slowly and push until making sound of insert.
Then please check surely inserted the Micro SD card in the SD card slot of the transmitter.
Taking off the Micro SD card while updating the Micro SD card is possible not to turn on the transmitter.
*When updated firmware and language files, please charge the transmitter fully before starting update.
*In case of the dropping voltage while updating, firmware update and language file update
cannot be completed and it is possible not to turn on the transmitter.
*If the transmitter cannot be turned on while updating,
please make contact with our distributor in your country.
