＜HOW to M17S･M17 ST/TH Replacement＞
M17S ST/TH unit is for sales. M17S ST/TH unit can be exchanged yourself.
It gives advantage of self-maintenance of your M17S or M17 without shipping to SANWA.
Please follow the below steps to replace with new ST and TH unit
and also read M17S ST/TH unit manual.
＜Taking off current ST unit＞
1. Remove steering wheel and 2 screws that fix the front cover.Then remove the front cover.
2. Remove 4 screws that fix the steering unit, remove the connector of steering unit,
and wiring of steering unit from the main body.
＜Important＞
※Please unlock the connector latch (connector locking lever)
when taking off the steering unit connector.
Do not pull forcefully without unlocking the steering connector latch.
It causes to break connector.
3. Remove steering base from steering unit.Then replace new steering unit with steering base.
4. Connect steering unit to transmitter, and place steering unit to transmitter.
5. Place wheel adapter and steering wheel. Then place front cover.
＜Taking off current TH unit＞
1. Remove the beads for fixing detachable throttle unit on the back side of the transmitter.
2. Pull out the detachable throttle unit from the transmitter.
Also, pull out cable of the throttle unit at this time.
*Do not pull out throttle unit forcefully.
3. Please unlock the connector latch (connector locking lever)
when taking off the throttle unit connector.
*Do not pull forcefully without unlocking the steering connector latch.
It causes to break connector.
4. Take off trigger adjustment holding screw, trigger base, and angle spacer.
5. Replace with new throttle unit trigger base, and angle spacer.
6. Mount the detachable throttle unit onto the transmitter while housing the cable
such that it does not entangle and fasten the fixing beads.
＜CALIBRATION＞
After finished steering unit replacement,
please calibrate steering right and left side by calibration in transmitter system menu.
Please refer calibration in transmitter manual.
1) Select [SYSTEM]
2) Select [CALIBRATION]
3) Select STEERING or THROTTLE to be calibrated.
4) After selected, SETTING to be [USER] and enter [NEUT]
5) The steering wheel is fully operated to the left side, right side.
6) [Adjust Ok?] will show bottom of the menu display.
7) Select YES.
※If needed to adjust again, please select [NO] and restart from entering [NEUT].
6) When calibration is completed, [Executed] will be displayed.
7) Then please calibrate THROTTLE as same as STEERING.
